After graduating from Izmir Science High School and Boğaziçi University Civil Engineering, Deniz Devrim Cengiz started his professional career at Nicholson International in 1996, and then worked in the Audit Board and CRM and Marketing departments at Garanti Bank. With TEB's partnership with BNP Paribas in 2005; He established and managed the Individual Marketing, CRM and Segmentation, and Alternative Distribution Channels departments, respectively. After serving as Alternative Distribution Channels Director for six years, Cengiz served as Digital Banking Group Director. Cengiz, who made TEB's direct banking platform CEPTETEB the fastest growing digital banking platform in Turkey in a short time, became the General Manager of Digital at the Kuwait-based National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) Group, one of the largest banking groups in the Gulf region, in 2018. He was appointed and led the digital transformation of the bank. Deniz Devrim Cengiz, who currently serves as Chief Group Digital Banking Officer at Burgan Bank Group, leads the digital transformation journey in Kuwait, the bank's headquarters, and the group countries, including Turkey. In addition to his professional career, Cengiz also stands out with his investor identity. has invested in 11 startups since 2016 and has taken an active role in the boards of directors of most of them.
